Undergraduate Education at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak's Pintar Campus

Universiti Tun Abdul Razak's Pintar Campus is home to the university's undergraduate faculties and various other schools. It was officially launched on 21 December 1998 by YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, then Minister of Education.

In its short history, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak has graduated over 10000 students, the majority of whom took various undergraduate courses at the Pintar Campus. This high number is due to the quality of education provided by almost 300 academic and support staff, which also ensures a low student-to-teacher ratio. The number of students currently stands close to 8000, approximately 5000 of which are located at Pintar Campus and the rest are distance-learning students.

The faculties located at Pintar Campus are Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), Faculty of Information Technology (FIT), Faculty of Education and Social Sciences (FESS), and Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM), which altogether offer over 20 undergraduate courses including diploma and degree programs. Additionally, the Pintar Campus is also home to the College for Open Learning and the Centre for Languages and General Studies. It is located in Kelana Jaya, and is just 30 minutes away from the city of Kuala Lumpur and 45 minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

All of the academic programmes are developed through close consultation with business partners, industry partners, the public sector and professionals. Furthermore, they are all approved by the Malaysian Higher Education Ministry (MOHE) and developed to meet the high standards required by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).

In addition to the academic education, students at Pintar Campus are highly active and encouraged to join various extra-curricular activities to become well rounded individuals. As such there are numerous student clubs and organisations for them to join, such as entrepreneurship, martial arts, culture & heritage, sports & recreational activities, social & religious, PR & self development, welfare & community works, and others. Once a year, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak's Pintar Campus students from across the faculties join together to organise a full-day community event called “Big Day Out”. Held with the support of various government agencies, most recently the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, the Big Day Out is a way of giving back to the community whilst developing the students' organisational, project management, marketing, and communication skills, amongst others.

Universiti Tun Abdul Razak's Pintar Campus has graduated many fine students who have gone on to build successful careers in various areas such as business, finance, early education, information technology, and hospitality & tourism management. It focuses on delivering a well-rounded education that, in addition to quality undergraduate academic programs, also provides means and opportunities for its students to improve other life skills and become successful individuals.
