Background of Institution
Realizing the immense career potential in the healthcare industry, MAHSA University College was established on 1 June 2004 with the noble objective of providing courses in the field of medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing and allied health sciences to train students in attaining adequate knowledge and skills to be competent medical and allied health science professionals in the healthcare industry.

MAHSA main campus is strategically located at Pusat Bandar Damansara, Damansara Heights (in Kuala Lumpur) with a total built-up area of 250,000 sq ft. The University College is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and ultra modern clinical and science laboratories. The MAHSA campus is surrounded by the vibrant and well-planned townships of Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya where shopping malls, restaurants, hawker centres, shops, clinics and banks are within reach.

MAHSA second campus is located at Jalan Universiti, next to the University Malaya. It comprises of four blocks of 10 storey building. It houses mainly the Faculty of Medicine, allied Health Sciences and provides accommodation for more than 2000 students.

For its permanent purpose built campus, MAHSA has bought a 50 acres site at Saujana Putra, Selangor near to Kuala Lumpur. All Faculties, except the Faculty of Medicine, will be located there. Construction of the new campus is expected to start in late 2010 or early 2011. The 1st phase of four Faculties and accommodation for 3000 students is expected to be completed in about 1 ½ years. Once fully completed, the campus will have about 15,000 students, a full hospital and a hostel.
